Want a Mentor? Two Things You Need to Be Taken Seriously

Finding a mentor is difficult. Without much experience in investing, it may seem impossible to go up to a real estate veteran and ask “can you teach me all the tricks of the trade?” With their busy lives, why would they take on a rookie investor like yourself? This question alone stops most investors from going out there and getting mentors that could help them grow, scale, and build a life of financial freedom. But it’s actually not that hard to get a mentor, you just need to know what to offer.

Henry is back this week to talk about real estate mentorships, where mentors can be found, and how much (if at all) they cost. Don’t worry. We’re not asking you to shell out thousands of dollars on some real estate coaching class. There are much better ways to get a mentor without putting yourself in debt or throwing away what could be a down payment. Instead, you’ll need to get creative, but this will allow you to find the heavyweight hustlers in your area that are doing deals like nobody else.

If you have a real estate mentor, where did you find them and what did you bring to the table? If you’re already an experienced real estate investor, comment on what you need in a mentee, and drop your email so they can reach out to you!
